Welcome to The Department of Arts Administration,
Education and Policy
at The Ohio State University!

Our Department’s legacy has been built on the distinction of its programs; the research, teaching, and service accomplishments of world-class faculty; and the diversity and aptitude of our outstanding students and alumni.

The Department’s undergraduate and graduate programs prepare future educators, researchers, and leaders in the areas of art education and arts policy and administration.  Graduate students have opportunities to specialize in museum education, material culture studies, arts management, American Indian studies, disability studies, and gender and sexuality studies or to choose from a range of other specializations.

We invite you to explore our website and our activities where the department promotes critical and informed engagement toward advancing the public interest with regard to opportunity, diversity, effective public policy, social justice, and creativity.
