Mindi Rhoades Receives 2007 Barkan Award

On May 10, 2007, Mindi Rhoades was presented the Manuel Barkan Dissertation Award in a ceremony held at the OSU Barrister Club. The Graduate Studies Committee chooses the dissertation that shows the most promise in Art Education or Arts Policy and Administration and considers the quality of the student's academic record. Following a lunch and speakers including Department Chair Pat Stuhr, Candace Stout, and Therese Barkan Willits, Mindi presented her research titled "Addressing the Computing Gender Gap: A Case Study of Visual Culture Art Education, Feminist Pedagogy, and Gender & Technology."
