May 7 - 9, 1998

The 1998 Barnett Symposium entitled "New Steps, New Partners, Everybody Dance: New Policy Ideas for the Arts" was co-sponsored by the Ohio Arts Council. Segments of the Symposium program appeared in the Fall 1998 issue of the Journal for Arts Management, Law and Society entitled "Beyond Economic Impact." The issue explores performance review policy and impact analysis research as they concern the arts. The Program also issues a series of Occasional Papers which include public lectures delivered at OSU, research-in-progress papers, and other topics likely to be of interest to the scholarly and policy community.
