Admission to the APA Program
Incomplete applications will not be considered. It is the applicant's responsibility to send all materials before the deadline. Admission of graduate students to the university is a shared responsibility
of the departmental Graduate Studies Committee and the Graduate School.
Applicants must fulfill admission requirements and procedures of both.
Graduate study in the Ohio State University's Arts Policy and Administration program is individually designed. Each graduate study program is structured by the student
in consultation with a faculty advisor.
Prerequisites for Coursework in Arts Policy and Administration:
- An undergraduate course in American government. At OSU, Political Science 101 or 300
would satisfy this prerequisite.
- An undergraduate course in microeconomics. At OSU, Economics 200 would
satisfy this prerequisite.
Students who are accepted into the APA program and have not completed such coursework prior to
enrolling for graduate classes will be accepted conditionally into the program.
