Americans for the Arts
This group is devoted to "supporting the arts and culture through private and public resource development, leadership development, public policy development, information services, public awareness and education." The Web site includes information on arts advocacy and administration.

ARTSEDGE: The National Arts and Education Information Network
This site is a joint project of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. Its aim is to "help artists, teachers, and students gain access to and/or share information, resources, and ideas that support the arts as a core subject area in the K-12 curriculum."

ArtsEdNet
"ArtsEdNet, an online service developed by the Getty Education Institute for the arts, supports the needs of the K-12 arts education community. It focuses on helping arts educators, general classroom teachers using the arts in their curriculum, museum educators, and university faculty involved in the arts." The site includes classroom resources, materials to help in winning support for arts education, information on ArtsEdNet Talk, an online discussion group, and links to other web sites.

Association of Arts Administration Educators
Members are academic institutions with degree programs in arts administration, and other interested institutions and individuals. The site includes a description of each member institution's program.

Institute of Museum and Library Services
This independent federal agency "supports museums' educational role through grant programs that encourage outstanding museum management and comprehensive collections care practices."

International Council of Museums
This organization, affiliated with UNESCO, is devoted to furthering museums and the museum profession. Its Web site includes links to home pages of special-interest committees of ICOM, and a large list of links to individual museums worldwide.

National Art Education Association
This is the home page of the NAEA, which is dedicated to promoting art education through "professional development, service, advancement of knowledge, and leadership." The site includes position papers, information about NAEA publications, activities and meetings, and membership information.

National Assembly of State Arts Agencies
This is "the membership organization of the nation's state and jurisdictional arts agencies. NASAA's mission is to provide member agencies with the information, resources and representation they require to engage issues proactively and serve the public effectively." The site contains news items about arts funding and state and local arts agencies, together with links to arts organizations.

Smithsonian Institution Center for Museum Studies
"The Center for Museum Studies (CMS) is an outreach office of the Smithsonian Institution focusing on museum studies, training, information and professional service. Our mission is to help museums throughout the United States and abroad fulfill their public service mission."

Young Audiences/New York
"Young Audiences/New York is one of New York City's largest arts-in-education organizations, serving primarily the New York City public schools.
